About the Organization

Established in 2007, the National Health Systems Resource Centre, a premier Think Tank for MoHFW, is mandated to assist in policy and strategy development in the provision and mobilization of technical assistance to the states and in capacity building for the Ministry of Health.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with the NP-NCD programme team to conduct a situation analysis including mapping of key stakeholders and understand the programme needs.
• In coordination with the Consultant for monitoring and evaluation, review implementation of the programme with reference to services, human resource management, infrastructure, equipment, drugs and capacity building.
• Assist National NCD division in developing normative guidance, commission relevant and priority research, synthesize evidence, review and recommend approval of research proposals.
• Providing technical support, writing reports, reviews and summaries.
• Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments
• Monitor research activities and provide feedback to National NCD Division
• Additional technical roles (publications, studies etc) within assigned areas.
• Develop a training strategy, in line with the programme needs.
• Support and coordinate updating of training modules and dissemination to states.
• Develop and implement innovative training methodology like E-Learning Package for wider dissemination of training materials.
• Support states to prepare training plans and training calendar for NP-NCD in coordination with the training plans of the other related health programme.
• Supervise training in states for quality and content and provide feedback for improvement as needed.
• Develop tools for evaluation of training programmes and support the states in conducting training evaluations.
• Compile and develop a comprehensive report on training at state level and suggest revisions as needed.
• Review and comment on the training components included under NP-NCD under the draft State PIPs.
• Undertake any other assignments, which may be assigned from time to time.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• MBBS/BDS/AYUSH with Post Graduate Degree in Community Medicine/Community Health Administration/Public Health with 2 years experience after obtaining post graduate degree. OR MBBS/AYUSH/BDS with 5 years experience in Public Health at National/State level

Salary

Rs. 1,20,000 per month
