About the Organization

Established in 2007, the National Health Systems Resource Centre, a premier Think Tank for MoHFW, is mandated to assist in policy and strategy development in the provision and mobilization of technical assistance to the states and in capacity building for the Ministry of Health.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with the NP-NCD programme team and for integration of NCD and Environmental health
• Support states to review implementation of NP-NCD with special focus on efficient procurement of equipment and drugs, human resource management and optimal utilization of funds.
• Support review of implementation at district level with reference to access, availability of services, training and quality of care.
• Support states in preparation of PIPs for NCDs to facilitate expansion of the programme in the state.
• Support the operationalization of National and state level multi sectoral action plan for prevention and control of NCDs.
• Provide technical support in initiating cost-effective interventions and mainstreaming NCD related interventions in different sectors at the state level for the prevention and control of NCD and their risk factors.
• Interact closely with the state teams to determine challenges and providing solutions in programme implementation.
• Additional technical roles (publications, studies etc) within assigned areas. Undertake any other assignments, which may be assigned from time to time.
• Strengthen partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, media, academia, and private sector stakeholders to amplify NCD awareness campaigns.
• Coordinate with other national health programs (e.g., NTCP, RBSK) to integrate NCD prevention messaging.
• Evaluate the impact of training programs and refine approaches based on feedback.
• Establish indicators to measure the effectiveness of health promotion activities and analyze data for scalability and impact.
• Leverage digital platforms (social media, apps, webinars) to disseminate NCD prevention messages.
• Document best practices, case studies, and success stories for national/international dissemination.
• Represent NP-NCD in technical meetings, workshops, and conferences.
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by the National Programme Coordinator.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• MBBS/BDS/AYUSH with Post Graduate Degree in Community Medicine/Community Health Administration/Public Health with 2 years’ experience after obtaining post graduate degree OR Masters in Environmental Science/Biotechnology with 05 years of experience in Public Health Program at National/State Level

Salary

Rs. 1,20,000 per month
