PRADAN is one of India’s foremost agencies working on large-scale rural poverty alleviation. Given the deep deprivation in rural pockets, particularly among tribal and vulnerable groups, we promote sustainable livelihoods integrated with work on issues of Gender, WASH, Health & Nutrition, Climate Change, Skilling, and Governance. Founded in 1983, PRADAN has been at the forefront of innovations in rural development and has played a significant role in the design and implementation improvement of major rural development programmes. We currently work across 9 states, reaching out to 3.07 Million households in collaboration with more than 100 NGO partners. PRADAN is an equal opportunity organisation.

Job Responsibilities

• Support in preparing Cluster Level Federation, Livelihood Action Plan and effective coordination and system strengthening of the livelihood function and programs, by providing hand-holding support to the CLF members and cadres.
• Conduct community needs assessments and market analysisto inform program design. Identify and engage with stakeholders, including local government agencies and NGOs.
• Facilitate training workshops and capacity-building sessionsfor beneficiaries.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress and impact of livelihood initiatives; collect and analyze data to inform program improvements.
• Prepare detailed project reports, documentation, and success stories for donors and internal use.
• Support the integration of environmental sustainability in all livelihood activities.
• Supervise and support field staff or community mobilizers involved in livelihood interventions.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Graduate in any discipline (Preferably Agriculture/Horticulture).
• A minimum of one to two years of relevant work experience isrequired.
• Good Computer knowledge.
• Proficient in Hindi and English.
• Ability to communicate well in meetings and public forums.
